Exposed steel girders arch to the sky, making the Nuggets' home a striking addition to the downtown skyline.
The Venue
Giant pieces of abandoned football equipment cast in marble and aluminum dot the west side of the stadium, while concentric circles of Colorado stone create a peaceful pedestrian walkway to the east. From the south, the Sports Mall Legacy Walk celebrates the achievements of Colorado sports heroes. The grass on the field is the real thing.
The Experience
Seats are close to the field, and steel risers create a deafening roar that rivals the noise of old Mile High Stadium. More than 76,000 seats rise three levels high, with two layers of suites--the bottom resting at exactly one mile above sea level. Concessions include traditional stadium fare, as well as gourmet coffee, Mexican food, barbecue, buffalo and local microbrews. Invesco is twice the size of its predecessor, with more leg room, restrooms and wider concourses.

When to go to Invesco Field
Take a walking tour (10am to 2pm) Thursday through Saturday (except Saturdays before home games). Get tickets ($3 to $5) at the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame on the west side of the stadium.
